Cerwin-Vega VMAXS104 VMAXX Series 10" Shallow Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer (4Ω)

The Cerwin-Vega VMAXS104 is a 10-inch DVC shallow subwoofer from the VMAXX Series, engineered to deliver powerful bass performance in compact installations. Designed for vehicles with limited space, this 10-inch, 4-ohm dual voice coil subwoofer offers an ideal balance of size, efficiency, and output for modern car audio builds.

Despite its shallow design, the VMAXS104 is built for performance, featuring a high-excursion motor structure and a precision-engineered cone for strong, controlled bass output with tight response and minimal distortion. Constructed using premium materials, it includes a heavy industrial strength aluminum cast frame, a black design patterned treated semi-pressed pulped cone, and a rubber surround for durability.

The subwoofer incorporates advanced engineering for reliability and thermal stability, such as an elevated motor structure cooling design, oversized spider, black coated voice coil for higher thermal capability, and additional voice coil cooling vents. Klippel DA optimization ensures motor and suspension symmetry, while oversized polished black chrome finished terminals and a copper shorting ring contribute to optimized performance.

The VMAXS104's dual 4-ohm voice coil configuration provides flexible wiring options to match a wide range of amplifiers, allowing for optimized system impedance. Its compact mounting depth makes it ideal for under-seat installations, trucks, and vehicles where space is at a premium, fitting easily into sealed or shallow vented enclosures.
