The Kenwood KMR-M300BT is a robust marine digital media receiver designed for the outdoors, perfect for boats, UTVs, side-by-sides, and golf carts. Its compact design allows it to fit into standard 3-inch gauge openings, making installation straightforward in various applications. The unit features a 2.7-inch full-color LCD display that ensures high visibility even under direct sunlight, complemented by variable color illumination for its controls.

This receiver boasts built-in Bluetooth 5.0 for seamless music streaming and hands-free control, allowing connection of up to five devices. It also includes a rear USB-A 2.0 port (5V/1.5A) for playing music from USB mass storage devices and charging. The KMR-M300BT supports a wide range of audio file formats including MP3, WMA, AAC, and FLAC. For radio enthusiasts, it comes with an AM/FM/Global Weather Band tuner and is SiriusXM-Ready (requires optional tuner and subscription).

Engineered for harsh marine and motorsports environments, the KMR-M300BT features an IP66-rated waterproof and dust-proof front panel, with an IPX4-rated chassis. It is also salt spray-proof (ASTM B117 tested), UV protected (ASTM D4329 tested), and vibration resistant. The circuit boards are enhanced with conformal coating for improved moisture resistance and corrosion prevention. Audio performance is delivered by a built-in 4-channel MOSFET amplifier (19 watts RMS x 4 channels at 4 ohms, 50 watts peak x 4 channels) and includes a 13-band graphic equalizer for optimal sound tuning, along with independent subwoofer volume control.

Further expandability is provided by three 2.0V preamp outputs for connecting external amplifiers and a rear-view camera input for enhanced safety and visibility during docking or maneuvering. The unit is also compatible with Kenwood's KCA-RC35MR wired marine remote control (sold separately), allowing control from multiple positions.
