Alpine R2-W10D4 Next-Generation 10-inch (25cm) R-Series Subwoofer with Dual 4-Ohm Voice Coils

The Alpine R2-W10D4 is a 10-inch R-Series subwoofer designed to deliver deep, clean, and accurate bass, representing the next generation of sound performance. These 2nd-Gen R-Series subwoofers feature a larger motor structure with double-stacked magnets, contributing to more motor force for deeper bass and tighter bass control compared to the previous generation.

Key features include an integrated Faraday ring that minimizes distortion for cleaner bass output, and a Kevlar-treated pulp cone that ensures durability and reliable performance even at high volumes. An oversized polypropylene/ceramic composite dust cap provides rigidity and incredible internal damping, smoothing out bass response and reproducing tight bass, while also offering higher heat reliability for non-stop performance. Alpine's High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) Surround Technology allows the cone to efficiently move air while staying cool, enabling 20mm of total cone excursion for incredible accuracy.

The R2-W10D4 features Dual Voice Coils (DVC) with easy configuration jumpers, offering flexible wiring options for various system setups. A new “EZ-Change” twist-lock grille mounting system simplifies installation and removal of an optional grille without screws, providing added protection to the cone.
