Alpine R2-W12D4 NEXT-GENERATION 12 INCH R-SERIES SUBWOOFER WITH DUAL 4-Ohm VOICE COILS

The Alpine R2-W12D4 is a 12-inch R-Series subwoofer designed to deliver deep, clean, and accurate bass. This 2nd-Generation R-Series subwoofer features a larger motor structure with double-stacked magnets, contributing to more motor force for deeper bass and tighter control compared to the previous generation. An integrated Faraday ring helps minimize distortion for cleaner bass output.

Durability is ensured with a Kevlar-treated pulp cone and an oversized inverted polypropylene/ceramic composite dust cap. The dust cap provides rigidity and incredible internal damping to smooth out bass response and reproduce tight bass, while also offering higher heat reliability for non-stop performance.

The R2-W12D4 incorporates Alpine's High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) Surround Technology, made of Santoprene rubber, which allows for significant linear excursion and maximum cone movement while keeping the subwoofer cool. This technology enables 20mm of total cone excursion, resulting in incredible accuracy.

Featuring dual 4-ohm voice coils with easy configuration jumpers, this subwoofer offers flexible wiring options for various system setups. It is rated at 750 Watts RMS and 2250 Watts peak power handling, making it suitable for high-powered amplifiers and performing well in both sealed and ported enclosures.
