AudioControl AC-LGD20 20-Ohm Load Generating Device and Signal Stabilizer (Pair)

The AudioControl AC-LGD20 is a load-generating device designed to maintain proper signal output from factory audio systems when upgrading speakers, amplifiers, or adding a line output converter. Many modern OEM audio systems monitor speaker load and may reduce or mute audio signals when factory speakers are disconnected. The AC-LGD20 simulates the proper speaker load, ensuring consistent audio performance and preventing factory radio or amplifier issues during aftermarket upgrades.

This device is ideal for OEM non-amplified Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Maserati sound systems, particularly 2015-up Chrysler-built vehicles with built-in protection circuits that require a speaker load. The AC-LGD20s come in pairs and are pre-wired with EIA standard wire colors for simplified installation, allowing for easy connection between factory speaker outputs and aftermarket amplifiers, DSPs, or line output converters. Its compact design allows for easy mounting behind panels or dashboards.
