The AudioControl The Epicenter Concert Series Digital Bass Restoration Processor (Black) is designed to enhance and restore the low-end frequencies often lost in factory and compressed audio systems, delivering deeper, fuller, and more powerful bass to your car audio setup. It features patented bass maximization circuitry that analyzes the incoming audio signal, recreates missing bass tones, and injects this low-frequency information back into the signal path for increased bass response.

This 2-channel processor includes ParaBASS controls, allowing users to choose a center frequency and contour the filter shape around it for precise bass tuning. It also incorporates a Programmable Frequency Match (PFM) subsonic filter, which helps eliminate speaker damage and wasted amplifier power by preventing ultra-low frequencies from reaching subwoofers.

The Epicenter is compatible with most vehicle audio systems, providing bass enhancement for both OEM source units with line-level outputs and aftermarket setups. It features one set of RCA line-level preamp inputs and outputs, selectable balanced and unbalanced inputs to reject noise, and comes with an ACR-1 dash-mount remote for convenient bass level adjustment.

Key specifications include a frequency response of 10Hz-100kHz, a signal-to-noise ratio of 110dB, and a total harmonic distortion of 0.003%. The unit has a maximum input level of 15Vrms and a maximum output level of 13.5Vrms.
