Axxess AXTC-FD1 SWC (Steering Wheel Control) and Data Interface for Ford/Mazda/Lincoln/Mercury 2007-2022

The Axxess AXTC-FD1 is a comprehensive data interface and steering wheel control (SWC) solution designed for select Ford, Mazda, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles from 2007 to 2022. This interface allows for the seamless replacement of a factory radio with an aftermarket stereo while retaining essential OEM features.

Utilizing patented Auto-Detect technology, the AXTC-FD1 automatically identifies the vehicle type, radio connection, and preset controls, simplifying the installation process. It provides crucial navigation outputs such as parking brake, reverse, and speed sense, along with a 12-volt accessory power output and illumination output. The interface also retains retained accessory power (R.A.P.), balance, and fade controls in most applications. It is compatible with both amplified and non-amplified audio systems (excluding Sony/THX systems in some cases) and supports all major aftermarket radio brands. The AXTC-FD1 features dual assignable steering wheel control buttons and retains memory settings even after battery disconnection. Firmware updates are possible via a Micro-B USB port.
