CRUX Interfacing Solutions SWRGM-49A | Radio Replacement w/ SWC Retention for GM LAN 29-Bit Trucks and SUVs 2012-2014 w/ Bose Amplified & Non-Amplified Systems

The CRUX SWRGM-49A is a premium interface designed for select General Motors LAN 29-Bit Trucks and SUVs from 2012-2014. It facilitates the seamless integration of an aftermarket radio while retaining crucial factory features. This interface is compatible with vehicles equipped with Bose Amplified, Non-Bose, and Y-91 audio systems.

Key functionalities retained by the SWRGM-49A include factory Steering Wheel Controls (SWC), chime functions, and the factory back-up camera (if present). It also supports iPhone Voice Recognition (VR) features from SWC on compatible Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine, and JVC radios. Users can manage calls (Pick Up/End Call, toggle between calls) and control audio (AVRCP Track, Seek) directly from their steering wheel. The module provides Factory Rear Seat Entertainment Activation, though this may require a special order harness (CRUX2444A included in kit or CJA2333A sold separately). Installation is made easier with EIA color-coded wiring. Please note that this product does not retain OnStar functionality and is not compatible with diesel-powered Express and Savana vans.
