CRUX SWRGM-49 | Radio Replacement w/ SWC Retention for GM LAN 29-Bit Vehicles 2006 - 2015 w/ Bose Amplified & Non-Amplified Systems

The CRUX SWRGM-49 is a premium radio replacement interface designed for select General Motors LAN 29-Bit vehicles manufactured between 2006 and 2015. This interface facilitates the seamless integration of an aftermarket radio while ensuring the retention of crucial factory features. It supports both Bose amplified, non-amplified, and Y-91 audio systems, making it versatile for various GM vehicle configurations.

Key functionalities retained by the SWRGM-49 include factory steering wheel controls, allowing drivers to maintain convenient access to audio functions. It also preserves original chime functions and, if present, the factory backup camera. Additionally, the interface provides activation for the factory rear seat entertainment system, though this requires a separately sold CRUX2333A cable. The unit features EIA color-coded wiring for straightforward installation and supports iPhone Voice Recognition (VR) from steering wheel controls on compatible Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine, and JVC radios.

Please note that the SWRGM-49 is not compatible with 2012-up SUVs/trucks equipped with factory-installed navigation radios (for which the SWRGM-49A is recommended) or with diesel-powered Express and Savana vans.
