The DS18 S40 is a compact 4-inch, 2-way coaxial speaker designed to deliver clear, full-range sound, making it an ideal upgrade for factory audio systems or for expanding multi-speaker setups in tight spaces. These speakers boast a robust 40W RMS power handling and a maximum power handling of 120W, ensuring reliable performance and consistent audio output at various listening levels.

Engineered for clarity and durability, the S40 features an integrated mylar tweeter that produces smooth, crisp high frequencies, complemented by a high-quality PPI woofer cone for powerful mids. The voice coil assembly incorporates ASV and EISV components, providing exceptional thermal stability and resistance to heat, which contributes to the speaker's longevity. Further enhancing its mechanical control and reducing unwanted resonance are a durable rubber surround, a black matte steel basket, and a barium ferrite magnet.
