The Kicker 48TRTP122 is a 12-inch CompRT Series Down-Firing Loaded Subwoofer Enclosure designed to deliver powerful bass in compact spaces. This ultra-efficient enclosure features a low-profile CompRT 12" active subwoofer paired with a 12" reFLEX passive radiator, providing deep, hard-hitting bass without the noise associated with ported enclosures.

Constructed from durable 3/4" medium-density fiberboard (MDF) with extensive internal bracing, the enclosure is covered in sleek black carpeting for added protection and a refined look. Its downward-firing design not only helps protect the subwoofer from damage but also allows for versatile placement under truck seats, in cargo areas, or in trunks, resisting stacking weight.

The CompRT subwoofer utilizes Kicker's signature red double stitching for a strong bond between the improved Santoprene surround and polypropylene woofer cone. Revolutionary SoloKon™ technology integrates the cone with a vented back brace, which cools the motor and eliminates distortion. Additionally, KICKER engineers developed Forced-Air Cooling™ to help the subs run 20 percent cooler, enhancing reliability and endurance.
