Kicker 48TRTP82 Down-Firing 8" CompRT 2-Ohm Enclosure

The Kicker 48TRTP82 Down-Firing 8" CompRT 2-Ohm Enclosure is engineered to deliver powerful, controlled bass in a compact, space-saving design. It fits perfectly under truck seats or in cargo areas, providing significant bass without sacrificing valuable room. This ultra-efficient TRTP™ Down-Firing Loaded Enclosure comes pre-wired to a single 2-Ohm terminal and is built to withstand real-world use, even with cargo stacked on top.

The enclosure features an active CompRT subwoofer paired with a passive reFLEX™ subwoofer, ensuring deep, low bass and enhanced audio performance. Its robust construction includes extensive internal bracing and thick MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) covered in durable black carpeting, ensuring long-term strength and a refined look. Kicker's innovative SoloKon™ technology joins the polypropylene woofer cone to the vented back brace, creating a single integrated unit that cools the motor and eliminates distortion. Additionally, Forced-Air Cooling™ technology helps the CompRT subs run up to 20 percent cooler, enhancing reliability and endurance.
