Metra DP-6551 Dash Panel - Dodge RAM 1500 1998-2001 | 2500 & 3500 1998-2002

The Metra DP-6551 Dash Panel is an engineered replacement dashboard panel designed to facilitate the installation of an aftermarket 4-inch tall (Double-DIN) radio in select Dodge Ram trucks. This kit allows for an upgrade to a larger, modern radio without the need for complex or labor-intensive custom fabrication of the original dashboard, which typically cannot accommodate a larger stereo.

The panel features a custom black textured finish that is designed to match the original look and feel of the vehicle's dashboard, ensuring a seamless integration with the interior. Constructed from high-quality ABS plastic, the DP-6551 offers an original factory-like fit and finish, providing durability and a clean aesthetic. The kit includes all necessary brackets and hardware, along with detailed installation instructions, to simplify the radio replacement process.

This dash kit is compatible with 1998-2001 Dodge Ram 1500, and 1998-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. Please note that it is not designed for 1998 Dodge Ram models equipped with a single knob headlamp switch or a 12-volt power outlet in the upper right corner of the dashboard.
