The Metra Electronics BACKUPCAM-2 is an OEM back-up camera interface harness designed to retain the factory backup camera in select GM vehicles when installing an aftermarket radio. This plug-and-play harness allows the factory camera's video feed to be viewed through the new aftermarket head unit, eliminating the need for cutting factory wiring. It provides an RCA video output from the factory backup camera to the aftermarket car stereo and supplies a 12-volt DC output for the factory camera.

The BACKUPCAM-2 is specifically for use in vehicles equipped with a 44-way connector and an OEM installed backup camera. It is compatible with various Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC models from 2010-2018. Please note that this product has been replaced by the Axxess AXBUCH-GM2.
