PAC C2R-CHY4 Radio Replacement Interface with Navigation Outputs for Select Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Vehicles

The PAC C2R-CHY4 radio replacement interface allows for the seamless installation of an aftermarket radio in select 2005-2020 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Mitsubishi, Ram, and Volkswagen vehicles. This interface is designed to retain essential factory features that would otherwise be lost when upgrading the head unit. It provides navigation trigger wires and a timed accessory output, ensuring that your new radio functions correctly with the vehicle's systems.

Key functionalities include the retention of the factory-installed amplified audio system, if present, by allowing the new receiver to turn on the factory amplifier. It also provides data bus driven outputs such as retained accessory power (RAP), vehicle speed sensor (VSS), illumination, reverse trigger, and parking brake outputs, which are crucial for aftermarket navigation systems.

The C2R-CHY4 is compatible with both amplified and non-amplified factory systems. For vehicles with a factory amplifier, it accepts two channels of audio input (left/right), allowing navigation voice prompts and Bluetooth calls to be heard. Additionally, it offers a direct connection for an optional PAC steering wheel control interface (such as SWI-RC, SWI-CP2, SWI-X), enabling the retention of factory steering wheel controls.

It also maintains the vehicle's data-bus integrity for service and emissions testing and can retain the factory vehicle entertainment system (VES) and rear-seat entertainment with the addition of the CHYRVD (sold separately). Note that it does not support fading in premium amplified systems and does not retain Uconnect.
