PAC RP4.2-HY11 RadioPRO4 Radio Replacement Interface for Select Hyundai Vehicles

The PAC RP4.2-HY11 RadioPRO4 interface is an all-in-one solution designed to simplify the installation of an aftermarket radio in select Hyundai vehicles. This innovative interface comes pre-loaded with software for amplifier retention and steering wheel control, along with navigation-based output signals, significantly reducing installation time and cost. It ensures that essential OEM safety and convenience features are maintained when upgrading the factory radio.

Key retained features include pre-programmed steering wheel controls, factory reverse camera video (if equipped), secondary screens, and the vehicle's original USB and AUX inputs. For vehicles with a factory amplified audio system, the RP4.2-HY11 supports its retention, though the separate RPA-SPDIF module is required for this functionality. The interface also provides data-controlled accessory and navigation outputs, such as vehicle speed sense (VSS), illumination, reverse trigger, and parking brake signals, which are crucial for proper aftermarket navigation system operation. Additionally, it offers a 10A accessory power output and a single programmable 12V output for added flexibility.

The RP4.2-HY11 is easily configurable using a PC application, allowing for customization of steering wheel control functions, including a unique short press/long press dual command functionality. It is also direct USB updatable, ensuring compatibility with future vehicle and aftermarket radio updates. This interface is compatible with various Hyundai models from 2011-2016, but it is not suitable for vehicles equipped with factory navigation or the Hyundai Veloster (which requires the RP4.2-HY12). It also does not retain Blue Link features.
