The Pioneer AS-BT200 Stereo Bluetooth Adapter is a compact accessory designed to add wireless audio streaming capabilities to compatible Pioneer audio/video receivers. It allows users to wirelessly stream music from various Bluetooth-enabled devices, including smartphones (iPhone, Android, BlackBerry), MP3 players, personal computers, and laptops.

This adapter connects to a proprietary port located on the back of compatible Pioneer A/V receivers, offering a seamless integration for enhancing your home theater or car audio system. The AS-BT200 supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR technology and is compatible with A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) for high-quality audio transmission and AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) for basic playback control from the receiver's remote. It also incorporates Pioneer's Sound Retriever AIR technology, which helps ensure crisp and high-quality sound during wireless streaming.

Additionally, the AS-BT200 can enable the Air Jam group playlist function with compatible networked Pioneer receivers, allowing up to four Apple devices to connect and create a shared playlist (requires a free app).
