Pioneer TS-A879 3.5" A-Series Plus 2-Way Coaxial Car Speakers (450W Max Pair)

The Pioneer TS-A879 A-Series 3-1/2-inch 2-Way Coaxial Speakers are designed to provide a high-performance audio upgrade for a wide range of vehicles. These speakers feature Pioneer's 'OPEN & SMOOTH' sound concept, which ensures a seamless and smooth transition between the midrange and tweeter drivers, delivering uniform off-axis frequency response optimized for automotive applications.

Built for durability and natural sound reproduction, the TS-A879 utilizes a carbon and mica-reinforced Injected Molded Polypropylene (IMPP) woofer cone. This robust construction allows the woofer to withstand the harsh in-car environment while producing clear and natural tonal qualities. The speakers also incorporate a 25mm (1-inch) Polyetherimide (PEI) hard dome tweeter with a Neodymium magnet, providing crisp and detailed high-frequency response.

Installation is made easy as these speakers are designed as a direct OEM replacement for many vehicles, including popular models from Toyota, Dodge, and Chrysler. An inline high-pass crossover network with an audio quality capacitor is included, which protects the speakers from damaging low frequencies by allowing only frequencies above 850 Hz to pass through, ensuring reliable performance and enhanced audio clarity.
