Pioneer TS-SW2002D2 8" Shallow-Mount Subwoofer with Dual 2-Ohm Voice Coils and 600 Watts Max. Power

Pioneer's TS Series shallow-mount subwoofers are engineered to deliver powerful bass performance in a compact design, making them ideal for vehicles where traditional subwoofers might not fit. The TS-SW2002D2 is an 8-inch shallow-mount subwoofer that can handle up to 150 watts RMS (600 watts peak power) and features a mounting depth of just 2-5/8 inches.

This subwoofer utilizes an oversized cone structure made of mica-injected molded resin (Mica-reinforced IMPP™) to provide a larger cone and gasket surface area without increasing its external dimensions. This design allows the subwoofer to move more air, resulting in louder and deeper bass. The highly rigid and durable cone, combined with a dual-layer, fiber-reinforced elastic polymer surround and dual spiders, ensures accurate bass reproduction with minimal distortion and excellent linear control even at high power input.

The TS-SW2002D2 features dual 2-ohm voice coils, offering flexible wiring options for 1-ohm or 4-ohm impedance, allowing for versatile amplifier matching. It is designed to perform optimally in small sealed enclosures, with a recommended volume of 0.5 cubic feet, but can also be used in free-air applications.
