Pioneer TS-W311D4 12" 1400W Champion Series Dual 4-Ohm Subwoofer

The Pioneer TS-W311D4 is a 12-inch Champion Series subwoofer designed for powerful and accurate bass reproduction. It features a newly redesigned IMPP (Injection Molded Polypropylene) composite seamless cone, which is both rigid and lightweight to prevent cone failure at high sound pressure levels and deliver durable, accurate, and powerful bass.

This subwoofer incorporates a dual-layer, fiber-reinforced elastic polymer surround that supports the woofer during cone excursion, ensuring accurate and hard-hitting bass notes even at high volumes. The TS-W311D4 also boasts a highly rigid, fully-enclosed, single-piece basket, derived from Pioneer's SPL competition subwoofers, to minimize vibration and increase driving force to the cone for louder, more rhythmical bass. Its re-designed spider assembly, separate from the basket, helps prevent the propagation of spider vibration to the cone, improving high transient and linearity of excursion, and enhancing clarity of sound reproduction.

The subwoofer is equipped with dual 4-ohm voice coils, offering flexible wiring options for a 2-ohm or 8-ohm load, allowing for future expansion with additional Champion Series subwoofers. Optimal ventilation is ensured through smoothly channeled airflow within the subwoofer, promoting quick response and clear bass reproduction, with an aluminum former improving heat dissipation.
