Rockford Fosgate Punch 12" P3 4-Ohm DVC Subwoofer P3D4-12

The Rockford Fosgate P3D4-12 is a 12-inch subwoofer from the high-performing Punch series, designed to deliver deep, powerful bass for car and truck audio systems. It features dual 4-ohm voice coils, offering flexible wiring options to optimize impedance and power matching with a wide variety of amplifiers. The subwoofer is engineered with a rigid anodized aluminum cone and dustcap, which helps it maintain its shape through heavy play while remaining light and responsive.

This P3 subwoofer incorporates several advanced technologies to enhance performance and durability. The Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST™) increases the cone's radiating surface area by up to 25%, allowing the sub to push more air for bigger bass. A hybrid StampCast basket provides superior strength while minimizing weight and resonance, and integrated spider venting helps keep the voice coils cool during demanding listening sessions, ensuring consistent bass performance over time.

Further features include an extended pole piece and bumped backplate for increased excursion, preventing 'bottoming out' at deep lows. The aluminum cone also acts as a heat sink, directing heat away from the copper-clad aluminum voice coils. The P3D4-12 works effectively in both sealed and ported enclosures, giving users flexibility in achieving their desired bass response.
